The AFMRD Excellence Awards recognize outstanding Program Directors, Associate Program Directors, Faculty Leaders, and Medical Directors whose contributions have advanced family medicine residency education and strengthened the development of future family physicians.

While nominees should demonstrate exceptional achievement in one primary area, they should also reflect a commitment to leadership, innovation, and teaching across their work.

Nominations may be submitted by any AFMRD member, including self-nominations. One recipient may be selected in each category of excellence each year.

Recognizing those whose vision, dedication, and impact are shaping the future of family medicine education.
