JOLT will be a virtual, rolling curriculum, which will repeat twice annually, culminating in an in-person capstone experience. JOLT learners may enter the curriculum at any time and may complete them according to preference or convenience within an 18-month timeframe. The program culminates in an in-person capstone experience aligned with a national academic family medicine meeting.
JOLT is distinct from NIPDD and other faculty development programs. It targets faculty such as, but not limited to:
- Associate Program Directors
- Directors of Osteopathic Education
- Medical Directors of Resident Continuity Clinics
- PDs of developing programs not yet accredited
- Faculty with multi-year experience interested in future leadership roles
