The AFMRD actively participates in the Family Medicine Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C. each Spring. For 2025, AFMRD will provide scholarships for:
- 16 family medicine residents
- 2 AFMRD members
- 2 NIPDD fellows
AFMRD reimburses up to $2,500 per person (travel, lodging, meals and registration).
Eligibility Requirements:
Following the summit, all scholars are required to submit a PowerPoint presentation (template provided by AFMRD) recapping the scholars' experience, an expense reimbursement form and itemized receipts. Reimbursement checks will not be sent until presentations are received.
