The Accreditation Navigation Course is provided by the AFMRD and the ACOFP. It is an intensive two-session program modeled after AFMRD's renowned National Institute for Program Director Development (NIPDD). The Accreditation Navigation Course, taught by a team of highly experienced faculty, provides in-depth material on all aspects of ACGME accreditation.
The $2,500 tuition covers both sessions, your PDW registration fee, and the many extras listed below. We are offering a $500 discount when two or more people from the same program attend together. (For example, a program director with a DIO or a program director with a program coordinator.) The first person will pay $2,500, any others will pay $2,000. Please contact Chris Pyle (913-906-6000 ext. 6724) for information on this discount.

Here's what past participants have to say about Accreditation Navigation ...
“Accreditation Navigation is a high value and high yield program. Transitioning from AOA to ACGME accreditation is a big undertaking and this program gave me the knowledge, tools and connections I needed to feel confident that I could successfully lead my program through the process. The faculty members are approachable, knowledgeable, experienced and extremely generous in their support. I’ve been particularly impressed by how responsive they have been through the community list serve. After the in-person sessions, I had other questions come to mind. After I posted my questions on the community list serve, Accreditation Navigation faculty members responded within hours. I recommend this course to all PDs.”
Lora Cotton, DO
Program Director, Oklahoma State University
"As a program coordinator the Accreditation Navigation course has been invaluable and the people you meet will become a tremendous resource."
Program Coordinator, United Memorial Medical Center
Batavia, New York
"Attending the Accreditation Navigation course was the best decision and use of funds we made as we began our journey from AOA to ACGME accreditation. The course was instrumental in the decisions we made as we mapped out our plan for the transition. I am positive we are much further along on our program changes to ready ourselves for ACGME than we would have been without this course."
