2024 Annual Meeting 

The AFMRD meets annually to conduct business, recognize members' accomplishments, discuss issues important to the work our members do on behalf of residents and their programs, and review the organization's activities over the course of the year.

Please join us for this year’s annual meeting in Kansas City, MO on Tuesday March 26, 2024. Agenda specifics will be posted shortly. 

Important Information Regarding the Annual Meeting:

• Bylaw Changes
  The Board of Directors are proposing changes to the AFMRD Bylaws that can be found here. These proposed changes will be voted on by eligible member voters during the meeting.

• Resolutions
  Resolutions must be submitted in writing, 24 hours before the start of the meeting. If you wish to enter a resolution to be considered, please submit a completed resolution form to afmrd@aafp.org. ALL resolutions must be submitted by 12:00 pm CT on Monday, March 25, 2024. 
• Voting
  All AFMRD members are encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting! However, only Program Directors (director of an ACGME accredited residency program) are eligible to vote or name a proxy. If you are a voting member and wish to designate a proxy, please complete the proxy form and return by 5 pm CT Sunday, March 24, 2024, to afmrd@aafp.org.
• Quick Hitter Survey
  Program Director members will have an opportunity to answer the annual Quick Hitter Survey that will be sent to Program Directors via email by 4 pm CT Monday, March 4th. The Quick Hitter survey will close on Wednesday, March 20 at 4 pm CT. Results of the Quick Hitter Questions will be shared with the membership at the meeting.
