Curtis L. Galke, DO, FAAFP
He completed his residency at the USAF Medical Center at Scott AFP, Illinois, and earned his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California.
What are your greatest professional interests?
The full spectrum of family medicine, from helping people into this life, to supporting them as they leave this life. I also love to help others, particularly medical students, to understand the personal and professional fulfillment of our specialty.
What are your personal hobbies and interests?
I enjoy working around the house and yard, exercising, eating a whole-food, plant based diet and spending time with my wife and children. I also enjoy playing the piano and taught myself how to play the organ.
If you could wave a magic wand and change one thing about graduate medical education, what would it be?
We would have a medical economic system that would attract the best and brightest to want to teach and mentor the next generation of family physicians.
