Curriculum Guidelines: A Scholarly Activity Opportunity for Your Faculty and Residents

The Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors (AFMRD) and The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) are working together to engage residency programs in a unique scholarly activity.

The Recommended Curriculum Guidelines (CGs) library – managed by the AAFP Commission on Education, Subcommittee on Graduate Curriculum (SGC), and stored on the AAFP website (http://www.aafp.org/cg) – is a rich resource for residency programs.

The process of reviewing and revising CGs is a great opportunity for a team of faculty and residents from your residency program to make a meaningful contribution to family medicine education. Calls for programs to participate typically go out mid-summer.
